The Cutlass Calais was replaced by the Oldsmobile Achieva in 1992, and the famed 4-4-2 nameplate had been revived for the Cutlass Calais in 1990 and 1991. Cutlass Supreme convertibles were produced from 1990 to 1995, and the Cutlass Ciera coupe ended in 1992. The family of Cutlass lines thus kept three nameplates in 1992 on three General Motors front wheel drive platforms. The Achieva took the Calais place for 1992.
