Ford Granada (North America)

Automobiles

The American Granada was a rear wheel drive sedan sold in the United States and Canada from 1975 to 1982, developed as the original successor to the Maverick and marketed as a luxury compact. It borrowed its name from Ford of Europe's flagship sedan, was twinned by the Mercury Monarch, and in 1981 moved to a smaller mid size body on the Fox platform. For 1983 it was replaced by the Ford LTD. The European Granada is a separate car with its own page. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation (1975 to 1980); the second generation (1981 to 1982).
