The first Courier was the sedan delivery body of the full size Ford from 1952 to 1960, built on the two door station wagon with the rear seat area turned into storage and the side windows replaced by steel panels. It had a unique side hinged rear door at first and then used the Parklane and Del Rio rear door and the Ranch Wagon body. Its model years run from 1952 to 1960. The Courier was a Ford nameplate used on very different vehicles in different places and years, from sedan deliveries to pickups and vans.
