For the 1961 model year Ford discontinued the Courier sedan delivery and the F Series panel delivery, replacing both with the Econoline cargo van. The 1960 Courier was therefore the last of the original Courier, a Ranch Wagon body with a cargo area. The sedan delivery body went on in the Falcon range to 1964. The Courier was a Ford nameplate used on very different vehicles in different places and years, from sedan deliveries to pickups and vans.
