Plymouth Horizon

Automobiles

The Plymouth Horizon was the Plymouth version of the Chrysler L platform subcompact five door hatchback, sold from the 1978 to the 1990 model year with the Dodge Omni. It was the American counterpart of the Chrysler Horizon sold in Europe and, in most years, outsold the Omni. Together the Horizon and Omni were the first front wheel drive Chrysler vehicles and the first American cars sold with a transverse mounted four cylinder engine, sold exclusively as five door hatchbacks. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the L platform (1978 to 1990).
