For 1984 the model line underwent a minor revision. Distinguished by revised exterior badging, the revision phased out a large degree of chrome exterior trim in favor of black painted trim. The interior received a redesigned dashboard, with a Rallye dashboard with full instrumentation introduced as an option. The Plymouth Horizon continued as a five door hatchback, with the Turismo coupe receiving a quad headlamp front fascia the same year.
