Mazda Demio

Automobiles

The Demio was a small tall wagon that Mazda launched on 27 August 1996, a surprise hit that lifted the maker out of its management crisis. It used the old DW platform of the Ford Festiva and the Revue, was sold as the Mazda 121 outside Japan and Europe and as the Ford Festiva Mini Wagon by Ford in Japan, and was built in Colombia until the end of 2007. This model follows the first generation, the DW, from 1996 to 2002, while later Demio generations are covered as the Mazda2. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation (DW) (1996 to 2002); the Colombian production (2003 to 2007).
