The B-Series is a line of pickup trucks that Mazda produced across five generations from 1961 to 2006, beginning as a commercial vehicle above the kei truck in size. Mazda named models by engine displacement, so a B1500 had a 1.5 liter engine and a B2600 a 2.6 liter. In Japan it was the Proceed for much of its life, in Australia the Bravo, in New Zealand the Bounty, and in South Africa the Drifter. Through its association with Ford, Mazda also produced it as the Ford Courier and the Ford Ranger. In 2006 the BT-50 replaced it. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 5 generations: the first generation (1961 to 1964); the second generation (1965 to 1976); the third generation (1977 to 1984); the fourth generation (1985 to 1997); the fifth generation (1998 to 2006).
