1976 Mazda B-Series

Automobiles

Sales of the Rotary Pickup dropped, with 632 units sold in the 1976 model year, when the four speed manual transmission was upgraded to a five speed. The B series of 1976 was in its twelfth year of the second generation, with the 1.6 liter NA engine and the 1.8 liter VB in Canada. Through its association with Ford, Mazda produced the B series as the Ford Courier and the Ford Ranger. In Japan the B series was referred to as the Mazda Proceed for much of its production.
