The 6 Series is BMW's grand tourer, introduced in 1976 as the successor to the E9 coupe. The E24 coupe ran to 1989, when the larger 8 Series replaced it, and the name was revived in 2003 with the E63 coupe and E64 convertible, followed by the F12, F13 and F06 Gran Coupe of 2011 and, from 2017, the G32 Gran Turismo fastback. The M6 was the high performance variant of every generation. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 4 generations: the E24 (1976 to 1989); the E63, E64 (2003 to 2010); the F06, F12, F13 (2010 to 2019); the G32 Gran Turismo (2017 to 2023).
