For 2019 the 6 Series Gran Turismo was sold in the United States in the final model year of the 640i xDrive, in a year when the F06 Gran Coupe was also still sold. Both the Gran Coupe and the Gran Turismo were discontinued in the American market after the 2019 model year, although the Gran Turismo continued to be available outside the United States. It was sold in Europe and Asia while the American models of the 640i xDrive were dropped after the 2019 model year.
