Military Transport Aircraft

Aircraft that carry troops, vehicles and supplies for armed forces, from the Second World War workhorses to today's strategic airlifters. An entry belongs here when the cited article names a military transport aircraft or airlifter. It excludes combat aircraft and civil airliners. Entries are placed by what their own cited article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
