Chrysler Fifth Avenue

Automobiles

The Chrysler Fifth Avenue was the highest trim Chrysler sedan, reserved for models just below the Imperial, from 1979 to 1993. It began as an option package on the rear wheel drive New Yorker, became a stand alone line on the M platform from 1982 to 1989 as the Chrysler counterpart of the Dodge Diplomat, and in 1990 returned as a front wheel drive long wheelbase New Yorker sharing its body with the Imperial. It was retired after 1993. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the first generation (1979 to 1981); the second generation (1982 to 1989); the third generation (1990 to 1993).
