The 1990 generation was a front wheel drive long wheelbase New Yorker on the Y platform, shared with the new Chrysler Imperial and with the Dodge Dynasty family, with a five inch longer rear compartment and enough interior volume to class it as a full size car. It had a standard rear vinyl roof, button tufted seats in velour or Mark Cross leather and a 3.3 liter V6 with a four speed automatic. Its model years run from 1990 to 1993.
