Mazda CX-9

Automobiles

The CX-9 was Mazda's three row mid-size crossover SUV, built in Hiroshima from 2006 and sold through two generations, the first on the Ford CD3 platform and the second on Mazda's Skyactiv platform with a turbocharged 2.5 liter engine. It was Mazda's largest passenger vehicle until the CX-90 arrived, and although it was built in Japan it was never offered in the Japanese market, where the shorter CX-8 took its place. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation (2006 to 2015); the second generation (2016 to 2024).
