For the 2010 model year the CX-9 received a minor facelift, consisting of a new front fascia and new tail lights. Three zone climate control and a Bluetooth hands free interface became standard features. The 3.7 liter V6 with 274 horsepower and six speed automatic transmission carried on unchanged, and the car was still built in Hiroshima. Three row side curtain airbags, roll stability control and a backup camera were part of the standard safety equipment.
