Ford Transit (third generation, VE6 and VE83)

Automobiles

The VE6 Transit appeared in January 1986 with an all new one box bodyshell and front suspension changed from the older layout. A subtle facelift in 1992 gave fully independent front suspension across the range and allowed single rear wheels on the long wheelbase version, and a major facelift in 1994 gave a new nose, dashboard and a 2.0 liter DOHC engine, plus the Tourneo passenger version. The 30th anniversary Hallmark came in 1995. Its model years run from 1986 to 1999.
