Ford Laser (KN/KQ)

Automobiles

The fifth generation, the KN of May 1999 and the KQ of 2001, was almost identical to the Mazda 323 beneath it and the last Laser. A 2.0 litre SR2 topped the range from 2001, but sales stayed weak and Ford ended it in Australia in 2002, with New Zealand following in 2003. Its model years run from 1999 to 2003. The Laser was a Ford badged version of the Mazda Familia, and it was one of the smaller cars in the Ford range of that period.
