BMW X5

Automobiles

The X5 is BMW's mid size luxury crossover, introduced in 1999 as the company's first sport utility vehicle and now in its fifth generation. It was developed after BMW acquired Land Rover in 1994, and it is built mainly at the Spartanburg plant in South Carolina, with an X5 M performance version since 2009, plug in hybrids since 2015 and a battery electric iX5 in the latest generation. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 5 generations: the E53 (1999 to 2006); the E70 (2006 to 2013); the F15, F85 (2013 to 2018); the G05, G18, F95 (2018 to 2025); the G65, G78 (2026).
