In March 2025 Avtotor resumed assembly of the X5, X6 and X7 models in Russia using remaining component kits left over after BMW terminated its partnership with the company in 2022, and sold a total of 145 vehicles in 2025. The X5 G05 continued in its facelifted form, built at Spartanburg for the world market and in Shenyang for the long wheelbase. The G05 was still in production in 2025, the seventh year of this generation, before the G65 arrived.
