All American V8 Engines

Mass-produced V8 engines of American makers, from the Ford flathead of the 1930s to the Hemi and the modular family. An entry belongs here when the cited article calls the engine a V8 engine. It excludes racing engines and aircraft engines. Entries are placed by what their own cited article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members. It is one of the groups under the Automotive Engines subcategory of the Transport atlas, which has its own browse page listing every group and member.
