Ford Tempo

Automobiles

The Ford Tempo was a front wheel drive compact car that Ford built from the 1984 to the 1994 model years. It replaced the Fairmont as the fourth line of compact cars Ford sold in North America, was sold as a two door coupe and a four door sedan, shared parts with the Ford Escort, and was the first aerodynamic styled sedan from Ford. Lincoln-Mercury sold it as the Mercury Topaz, and for 1995 the Contour replaced its sedan. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation (1984 to 1987 model years); the second generation (1988 to 1994 model years).
