The Ford Crown Victoria, nicknamed the Crown Vic, was Ford's full size rear wheel drive sedan from the 1992 to the 2012 model years, the largest sedan Ford sold in North America and the Ford counterpart of the Mercury Grand Marquis. It used the body on frame Panther platform shared with the Grand Marquis and the Lincoln Town Car, was built in Ontario, and in its Police Interceptor form became the standard American police car and a staple of taxi fleets. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation, EN53 (1992 to 1997 model years); the second generation, EN114 (1998 to 2012 model years).
