In April 2011 Ford stopped taking new orders for the Crown Victoria. Production officially ended on 15 September 2011, when a white LX model rolled off the line at St. Thomas, the final Panther platform car, the last full size body on frame sedan, and the last vehicle built at the plant before it closed. The Mercury Grand Marquis had ended on 4 January 2011 and the Lincoln Town Car on 29 August 2011.
