The non-letter Chrysler 300, also called the 300 Sport Series, was the more affordable full-size companion of the exclusive letter series from 1962 to 1971. It took over the place of the cancelled Windsor and DeSoto, added a four door hardtop, outlived the letter series by five years, and its name returned in 1979 as an option package on the Cordoba coupe. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 4 generations: the 1962 to 1964 (1962 to 1964); the 1965 to 1968 (1965 to 1968); the 1969 to 1971 (1969 to 1971); the 1979 Cordoba package (1979).
