1966 Chrysler 300 non-letter series

Automobiles

When the performance first Chrysler 300 letter series was discontinued in 1966, the 440 V8 replaced the 413 V8 in this non letter version of the 300, and there was a mild facelift. The non-letter car had run alongside the letter series since 1962 and it now became the sole 300 model, a status it would keep until production ended in 1971, as a hardtop coupe, four door hardtop and convertible. It was offered as a hardtop coupe, a four door hardtop and a convertible, with concealed headlamps still a few years away.
