Subaru R2

Automobiles

The R2 was a Subaru kei car that Fuji Heavy Industries built for the Japanese market between 2003 and 2010, and its name recalled the Subaru R-2 of 1969 to 1972. It was the first Subaru with the new family look, including a spread wings grille, and its exterior size was close to that of the Pleo, though with a rounded, less space efficient form. It used a 658 cc inline four cylinder engine, unlike the boxer engines of other Subarus, in SOHC, DOHC and supercharged form, with front or all wheel drive. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (2003 to 2010).
