The 1957 Plymouth was so new that Chrysler promoted it with the slogan Suddenly, it's 1960, and the Belvedere shared in a very strong sales year for the corporation, with Chrysler's torsion bar front suspension. A 350 cubic inch big block V8 with dual four barrel carburetors was optional in 1958. For 1959 the Fury became the top range, the Belvedere moved to the middle, the Savoy was the cheapest and the Plaza was dropped. Its model years run from 1957 to 1959.
