Ford Zephyr

Automobiles

The Zephyr was an executive car from Ford of Britain, built from 1950 until 1972. With its luxury variants, the Zodiac and the Executive, it was the largest passenger car in the British Ford range until the Consul and Granada replaced it in 1972. In its first years the four cylinder version was called the Consul, and from 1962 both four and six cylinder cars were named Zephyr. It was the last car designed independently by Ford of Britain. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 4 generations: the Mark I (1950 to 1955); the Mark II (1956 to 1961); the Mark III (1962 to 1965); the Mark IV (1966 to 1972).
