The Regal is a line of midsize cars that Buick has marketed since 1973, the premium intermediate of the Buick range for nearly its whole production, sold as coupes, sedans, liftbacks and wagons, and from 2011 to 2020 in North America as a rebadged Opel Insignia, while the Chinese built Regal continues. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 6 generations: the first generation, 1973 to 1977 (1973 to 1977); the second generation, 1978 to 1987 (1978 to 1987); the third generation, 1988 to 1996 (1988 to 1996); the fourth generation, 1997 to 2004 (1997 to 2004); the fifth generation, 2008 to 2017 (2008 to 2017); the sixth generation, 2018 to 2025 (2018 to 2025).
