Mitsubishi Legnum

Automobiles

The Legnum was a station wagon that Mitsubishi built from 1996, the wagon version of the eighth generation Galant, developed to take on the Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon. It was sold in Japan at both Galant and Car Plaza stores until 2002, and abroad as the Galant Estate and the Galant Combi until 2006. It won the 1996 Japan Car of the Year, and its 1.8 liter 4G93 GDI engine, the first ultra lean burn gasoline direct injection in the world, was a headline technology. Its name is Latin for kingship. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1996 to 2006).
