The Vivio was a Subaru kei car sold from 1992 to 1998, small enough for the tax breaks of the Japanese kei class yet roomy inside thanks to a tall body and large windows. It came as a three or five door hatchback with a four cylinder Clover engine of 658 cc, naturally aspirated or supercharged, in front or four wheel drive, and a rare targa top version. Its name nods to the 660 cc displacement written in Roman numerals. The Vivio replaced the Rex, was succeeded by the Pleo, and was exported to Europe with no engine upsizing. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1992 to 1998).
