Plymouth Barracuda (third generation)

Automobiles

The third Barracuda was an all new car on the E body, a shorter and wider version of the B platform shared with the Dodge Challenger, and it lost every part it had shared with the Valiant. It came as the base Barracuda, the luxury Gran Coupe and the sporty 'Cuda, with engines up to the 426 Hemi. After 1971 the big blocks and the convertible went away, emission and safety rules cut power, and sales faded. The Barracuda ended with the 1974 model year. Its model years run from 1970 to 1974.
