1972 Plymouth Barracuda

Automobiles

For 1972 the Barracuda had a new grille with single headlights and four circular taillights, and it stayed essentially the same until 1974. The big block engines, the heavy duty suspension and the Dana 60 rear axle were gone, power seats and windows and leather were no longer offered, and the convertible was dropped. Only three engines were listed, a 225 six, a 318 as the base for both Barracuda and 'Cuda, and a detuned 340, all rated on the net method and tuned for low lead fuel.
