The Barracuda changed slightly for 1971 with a new grille and taillights and different seats and trim. It is the only year of the third generation with four headlights, and the only 'Cuda with fender gills. The 340 Six Barrel was dropped and the four barrel 440 was no longer listed, and the Hemi 'Cuda convertible built that year is among the most valuable of all muscle cars, with only thirteen made.
