Morris Cowley

Automobiles

The Cowley was a name Morris gave to several cars over four decades, beginning with the 1915 Continental Cowley, a larger engined four seater version of the first Oxford with the Bullnose radiator and many American built parts. It became the basic Morris of the 1920s, was redesigned in 1926 with a flat radiator and in 1931 with hydraulic brakes, and in 1954 the name returned for a cheaper version of the Oxford. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 4 generations: the Bullnose (1915 to 1926); the Flatnose (1926 to 1931); the Cowley and Cowley Six (1931 to 1935); the Cowley 1200 and 1500 (1954 to 1959).
