Morris Cowley (Flatnose)

Automobiles

The Flatnose Cowley of 1926 replaced the Bullnose radiator with a more conventional flat one and gave doors on both sides and a longer list of standard accessories. All steel bodies were becoming available. The engines stayed the same, a new chassis brought semi elliptic springs all round with Smiths friction shock absorbers, and the Cowley, unlike the Oxford, kept brakes on the rear wheels only as standard. Its model years run from 1926 to 1931.
