The Magna was Mitsubishi Motors Australia's mid-size car, built over three generations from 1985 to 2005 at Clovelly Park in South Australia. It replaced the Sigma, and each generation was derived from a Japanese platform re-engineered for Australian conditions. The luxury Verada variant arrived in 1991, and the Magna and Verada became the first Australian made vehicles exported worldwide in large numbers, mainly as the Mitsubishi Diamante. The Mitsubishi 380 replaced them in 2005. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the first generation (1985 to 1990); the second generation (1991 to 1995); the third generation (1996 to 2005).
