In December 1995 the export version of the V6 wagon was sold locally as the Verada Touring wagon, in a limited edition of only 81 manuals and 99 automatics. The Magna of 1995 was in the fifth and last year of the second generation, built at Clovelly Park, and replaced in 1996 by a new generation Magna and Verada. The Magna was developed as a replacement for the Mitsubishi Sigma, with each generation derived from Japanese platforms re engineered for the Australian market and conditions.
