The CX-8 is a mid size three row crossover SUV that Mazda has built since the end of 2017, a three row version of the CX-5 that became the flagship SUV of the company in Japan because the larger CX-9 was not sold there. It was offered with six or seven seats and, at first, only a 2.2 liter Skyactiv-D diesel, with 2.5 liter petrol engines added in 2018. It was sold in Japan, China, Oceania and Southeast Asia, assembled in Malaysia and Vietnam, and replaced in Japan by the CX-80. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (2017 to 2026).
