Ford Ranchero (second generation, Falcon Ranchero)

Automobiles

In 1960 the Ranchero became much smaller, based on the compact Falcon, specifically the two door sedan delivery variant, in a shift led by the success of small economical cars like the Volkswagen Beetle and the new 1960 Falcon, Corvair and Valiant. A 170 cubic inch six was offered in 1961 and a 260 V8 in 1963. It grew slightly with the Falcon in 1964, and a 289 V8 replaced the 260 in 1965. Its model years run from 1960 to 1965.
