Ford Probe (second generation)

Automobiles

The second generation Probe, for 1993, was a complete redesign by the Ford and Mazda design teams, again sharing its underpinnings with the Mazda MX-6 and 626. Mazda engineered the engine, transmission and chassis and Ford the body and interior, so it was about 60 percent Mazda and 40 percent Ford. It was offered with a four cylinder or a V6 in the GT, and sold in Europe too. Ford discontinued it in 1997. Each model year has its own page.
