A new SE, for Sport Edition, trim level was available for 1995 and 1996, with the GT front fascia without fog lamps, unique 15 inch aluminum wheels and Sport Edition lettering. The Probe GT received the black outlined tail lights of the base and SE for 1995. Ford had hoped to sell around 20,000 Probes a year in Britain, but in the three years it was sold there only just over 15,000 were bought. The SE package was thus available only in 1995 and 1996.
