Ford P100 (Taunus TC2 based)

Automobiles

The second form, from 1977, took the bodywork of the Taunus TC2 and the Cortina Mk4, with a redesigned cab using the shorter front doors of the Mk4 four door models. In South Africa it was sold as the Ford 1 Tonner. Its model years run from 1977 to 1979. The P100 was a coupe utility pickup that Ford built on the front half of a family car, sold first in South Africa and then in Europe. It began as the Cortina Pickup and ended in 1995 on the Sierra, built in Portugal.
