The CDX was Acura's only China-built model, a compact crossover based on the Honda HR-V and made by Guangqi Honda in Guangzhou. A 1.5 litre turbocharged VTEC engine of 180 horsepower drove the front or all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, and its adaptive dampers were similar to those of the Civic Type R. Beijing's auto show in April 2016 was where it first appeared, and an A-Spec version came in 2020. It was retired when Acura left China in 2022.
