The 2022 CDX was the last model year. Sales continued until April 2022, when Acura said it would leave China altogether, which finished the car's run at the Zengcheng Plant in Guangzhou. It had been sold only in China and never reached North America, and its 180 horsepower 1.5 litre turbo engine and eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox had been unchanged since its introduction in 2016, and the CDX remained a vehicle that was based on the HR-V, built in Guangzhou by Guangqi Honda.
