The CDX was a subcompact luxury crossover SUV that Acura made for China alone, built by the Guangqi Honda joint venture at its Zengcheng plant in Guangzhou. It debuted at the Beijing show in April 2016, went on sale in July 2016 and was sold until April 2022, when Acura announced that it was leaving the Chinese market. It was based on the Honda HR-V, with a 1.5 litre turbo engine and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, and Acura said it had no plans for it in North America.
