The 2017 CDX was the first full model year of Acura's China-only crossover, which went on sale in July 2016 after first appearing at the April 2016 show in Beijing. A 180 horsepower 1.5 litre VTEC turbo with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission powered it, in front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive form. The car was built by Guangqi Honda at the Zengcheng Plant in Guangzhou on the underpinnings of the Honda HR-V.
