The 2018 CDX continued as the only Acura built for China, with the 1.5 litre turbo engine and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The front-drive car could accelerate to 100 kilometres per hour in 8.6 seconds and the all-wheel-drive car in 9.7 seconds, and its top speed was electronically limited to 210 kilometres per hour. Acura had said at launch that it had no plans to sell the car in North America.
