The 2001 Acura 3.5RL had few changes: latches for child seats were fitted on the rear deck, and the trunk gained a manual release. The car otherwise remained the facelifted 1999 body with its larger brakes, HID low-beam headlights, the Vehicle Stability Assist system introduced the year before and the 3.5 litre V6, still the flagship of the Acura range at the time, with no other change recorded in the sources used for this page.
